The huntingdon county commissioners along with the Penn State Agricultural Extension came together tonight to talk about an insect that is a threat to our state.

The Spotted Lanternfly destroys crops and recently came to Pennsylvania.

It was originally found in South Eastern Pennsylvania, and has since spread to 13 counties within that region.

Tonight a public meeting was held at the Bailey Building Ballroom in Huntingdon to educate people on how to identify the Spotted Lanternfly, and how it can be stopped from spreading any further.
