Steve Helsel, the operations manager for the Altoona Community Theatre has passed away.

For decades Steve helped run the theatre and became a staple of central Pennsylvania’s arts community.

The Altoona Community Theatre released a statement on their Facebook page saying he will be remembered as a loving mentor, friend, and family member.

He was 63 years old.
