State Police will participate in “Click It or Ticket” program.

The traffic enforcement program will run from Monday, November 19 through Sunday, December 2. If a driver is stopped for a traffic violation and is not wearing a seat belt, the driver will receive two citations, one for the traffic violation and the other for the seat belt violation.

During the “Click It or Ticket” program, Troopers will be adopting a zero-tolerance police toward any violation of the seat belt and child passenger restraint laws. Troopers throughout Troop C will be conducting regular checks and child safety seat checks.

State Police are also conducting free child passenger safety seat checks to help parents keep their children safe. These checks will reduce the number of installation problems, identify faulty seats, identify seats that have been recalled and answer any questions about the child passenger safety seat law.
