In preparation for bow hunting season, which is set to kick off this Saturday, a group of state representatives are gathering to tell hunters what they need to know about chronic wasting disease.
CWD infects deer and elk, and is always fatal to them.
Today, representatives Matt Gabler, Tommy Sankey, and Cris Dush, are hosting a public meeting for hunters and taxidermists to talk about how they can work together to prevent the disease from spreading.
That meeting will be from 6:00 to 9:00 tonight in the Student Union Building on the Penn State Dubois campus.
