Construction at the new State High School has reached a halfway point.
The 680,000 square foot structure will include up-to-date technology, new furniture and much more.
Phase one of this two part project will be completed in January of 2018, once students return from winter break.
“In terms of schedule, we’re approaching turnover of the first phase in January of 2018. So when the students leave for winter break at the end of December, there’s going to be a two week move-in process,” said Tim Jones, the Project Manager.
The new school is expected to cost more than 140 million dollars and is set to be completely finished just in time for students to return to school in the fall of 2019.
