The woman who survived a shooting spree in State College more than two weeks ago is making progress.
According to her GoFundMe page, Nicole Abrino is awake and responsive after 8 surgeries and medical procedures.
That page is continuing to raise money for her. Some of the funds will be used to make her home handicapped accessible.
The next step for her recovery is phyiscal therapy.
