State police are now filing attempted homicide charges against the suspect involved in a Centre County standoff on Saturday, December 2.

That standoff with police lasted several hours at a home on Walnut Road in Snow Shoe Township.

Investigators said when a special team was called in, the suspect, Franklin Furl III, pointed a gun and shot at the officers.

He was eventually arrested and no one was hurt.

Furl is due in court on Wednesday, December 13.
