A special event is celebrating the arts in Altoona.
The area from North 6th to 8th Street in the Juniata neighborhood was transformed into an arts block party.
Community members got to check out more than 80 musicians, performers, artists, food trucks, and much more.
Many said they enjoy events like these because it brings people together.
“I think it helps support the local businesses and brings money to our community,” Edie Snyder, an Altoona resident, said. “It also brings people together and I like that.”
All the fun started at noon on Saturday and ran until 6:00 p.m.
