There was a special delivery in the neighborhood Saturday!

Mr. McFeely, from the show Mister Roger’s Neighborhood, was at the American Philatelic Center in Bellefonte to dedicate the Mister Rogers forever postage stamp.

David Newell, who portrayed the delivery man in the show, was happy to make a special and speedy delivery for the show’s 50th anniversary.

“The adults grew up with the program and the children are growing up with the program,” Newell told us. “So that’s what is gratifying.”

The free event was co-hosted by WPSU Penn State and the American Philatelic Society.
