Former Penn State president Graham Spanier is not heading to jail this weekend.
He was scheduled to report to prison on Saturday, but new court documents show a Judge signed paperwork saying “his report date will be re-set pending resolution of his appeal.”
Spanier was convicted of child endangerment in connection to the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal.
Spanier is appealing his conviction. He faces up to a year in prison.
