A Somerset man has been charged with DUI and traffic offenses.
Joshua Kumler, 27, was stopped for careless driving after almost hitting a police car and another vehicle on Tuesday at 12:28 a.m.
Kumler said he didn’t see either vehicle after pulling out from a parking space on the road. He showed signs of intoxication related to a controlled substance and failed a sobriety test.
He was taken to Somerset Hospital for testing, which he refused. He was released and will be charged with DUI and other traffic offenses related to the traffic stop.
