HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) — More than 60 volunteers from the American Red Cross gave up part of their Saturday to help save lives in Blair County.
The volunteers went door to door in Hollidaysburg installing free smoke alarms and replacing batteries for those who needed them.
They planned to give away 500 smoke alarms in the borough.It’s part of a campaign by the American Red Cross to install more than 28-hundred free smoke alarms across the state.
