Two people from our region were caught allegedly taking money from state assistance programs.
Amy Stanczyk, from Central City in Somerset County, is accused of taking money from the food stamp program and the heating assistance program.
Rachel Ryland, from Brockway Jefferson County, is also accused of taking money from the food stamp program.
If convicted, both could face fines and prison time.
