The community is invited to attend a musical event to raise awareness for Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Survivors.
“Singing for Survivors,” is being presented by the Greenbean Coffee House and Family Services Incorporated tonight from 5 to 11 p.m. at the Bavarian Aid Society in Altoona. Join the Victim Services Program of Family Services Incorporated to learn about who they are and what they offer to our community.
Some of Altoona’s best talent will be performing, including Michelle Barnes, Asbury Lane, This Albatross, and Shallow 9.
There will be a cash bar and pizza for sale. Greenbean Coffee House will also be selling some of their beverages during the event.
The event is free to the public, but donations are welcome. All donations from this event will go toward providing services to Blair County survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence.
