A lawmaker is urging folks to not become a victim of scams this holiday season.
Senator Bob Casey say this time of the year many of us, especially senior citizens, are vulnerable to con artists.
He says during the holidays it’s common for fake emergency phone calls urging grandparents to send money or begging for donations for charities that don’t exist.
You can still be in the giving spirit, just be sure to verify whoever you’re giving money to.
