Search and rescue crews were out all day Saturday looking for a missing fisherman.

Officials said they’re looking for the man after a park ranger at Prince Gallitzin State Park spotted a boat with the motor running, but no one inside.

Crews told us they tracked down the man’s information and found his wife hadn’t heard from him. Emergency responders said after an extensive search throughout the park, they’re now focusing on the lake.

“He was boating by himself and believed to not wearing a life jacket,” Jessica Laveoua, the park manager at Prince Gallitzin State Park, said. “So I stress to anyone the importance of wearing a life jacket on a boat even if you think you can swim.”

The name of the fisherman is not being released out of respect to the family.

The search will continue Sunday morning at 7.
