It looks like teachers for the Tussey Mountain Area School District will not go on strike.
Monday night, the Tussey Mountain Education Association voted to accept the new contract offered by the School District.
That contract will last for 4 years and includes several new provisions including better wages, healthcare, and more paid leave for teachers who won’t see a wage increase.
Both the School Board and the Education Association say they’re glad they were able to come to an agreement and get back to focusing on their students.
