State Police reported that a felon in Rush Township was found illegally possessing a firearm last month.
Police said that on December 29, they served an arrest warrant to 30-year-old Joseph Morbeto, from Osceola Mills, for a parole violation.
When Morbeto was taken into custody, police searched him and found a 30-caliber handgun, which Morbeto cannot possess as a felon.
Police say they also found multiple drug paraphernalia items in his house.
