Police in Johnstown have a man in custody after a late night armed robbery at a local gas station.
Police say James Mack walked into the APlus Mart and Sunoco gas station on Fairfield Avenue with a BB gun and demanded money.
It happened around 11 pm Tuesday night.
Police say hours later, Mack came back and used a ‘bait bill’ to pay for items at the mini-mart. Police were alerted and arrested him at a home on Hattie Avenue.
During police interviews Mack confessed.
Mack is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday.
