Residents in Roaring Spring will have the opportunity to decide if they want alcohol to be sold in their borough.

Folks can vote for or against the Roaring Spring Alcohol Referendum during the primary election this coming May.

A group from the area worked to get the word out about the cause.

They received 219 signatures from residents, which they needed to get on the ballot.

The borough has been dry since the 1920s.
