PennDOT has issued an update on their Route 322/Potters Mills Gap project in Southeast Centre County.

Through the end of November, drivers can expect the following:

     • Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, there will be no work performed Thursday, November 22 through Tuesday, November 27. Work will resume on Wednesday, November 28.

     • Once work resumes, drivers Eastbound and Westbound may encounter traffic stops of up to 15 minutes, as rock-fall work takes place. These stops are necessary for crews to break up larger rocks and keep drivers as safe as possible.

     • A mile East of Potters Mills, the crossover from Decker Valley Road to Sand Mountain Road remains in place, with one lane available in each direction. This crossover, along with a 13-foot width restriction, will continue through winter.

     • Work will also continue off the roadway and drivers should be aware of construction vehicles entering and exiting Route 322 through the Potters Mills area.
