Dozens of residents lined the street for the annual Memorial Day Parade in Duncansville.
There were fire trucks, bands playing patriotic tunes and military vehicles that rolled through the street.
John Gentry, a Vietnam veteran, has been in the parade for 15-years. He decided to watch this year instead of riding in it. He said he’s proud to see the outpouring of support for our fallen heroes.
“Too many people consider memorial day a holiday for vacationing,” Gentry said. “But now I’m starting to see more people going out to the memorial services and that’s great.”
Gentry said that the parade seems to get bigger and better every year.
