Many celebrated Independence Day at the Martinsburg 4^th of July carnival at Morrisons Cove Memorial Park on Monday.

Residents enjoyed spending time in the family friendly environment.

Parks and recreation director Chuck Gojmerac said that the carnival is the park’s largest fundraiser of the year, and it generates about $20,000 dollars towards their annual budget.
