Our region’s biggest consignment sale for kids is happening this weekend.
The Treasured Once Again consignment sale starts Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at the Jaffa shrine in Altoona.
It will run until Sunday.
Nearly 350 local families are selling nearly 50,000 treasures including clothing, toys, baby gear, and more.
Organizers say anything that isn’t sold will be donated to the Second Avenue United Methodist Church.
“It’s a way to really give back to the community and it’s a way for moms to help other moms,” said Barbara Hagmaier, the co-owner of the organization.
Consigners and volunteers can still sign up for Johnstown’s sale on November 2.
Sellers can earn up to 70% commission.
