A large section of Route 53 in Clearfield County will stay shut down because of Tuesday’s storms.
No through traffic is allowed to travel down the stretch of road between i-80 in Kylertown and the Clearfield/Centre County line until further notice.
That road was expected to have one lane back open this week but Penndot says the heavy rains means they need to double check it for safety reasons.
