A homemade arrow strikes and kills a rabbit in Centre County. Now police and the Game Commission are investigating.
Officials told us the arrow was made from an X-ACTO knife taped to a stick.
The rabbit was found on Penn State’s main campus. It was then immediately taken to the vet, but never woke up from surgery.
“Well it’s horrifying,” executive director of Centre Wildlife Care, Robyn Graboski, said. “It’s certainly not ethical, or humane, and it’s very illegal to do that kind of thing.”
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Game Commission at 570-398-4744.
