18 members of Penn State’s Beta Theta Pi fraternity are in court today listening to testimony regarding their alleged roles in the death of pledge Timothy Piazza.
According to WTAJ reporter Jackie Padilla, who is in the court room today, among the testimonies already heard was from one of the investigators who saw Piazza in the hospital immediately after the February incident. Piazza fell down some steps at the Beta Theta Pi house, and he later died from his injuries.
The Piazza family left the courtroom when video footage from the 12 cameras that were running the night of Piazza’s fall was played.
