Pro wrestler helps police at local Denny’s

A West Virginia man is facing a slew of charges after a scary incident over the weekend at a local restaurant.

The video above was sent to us by a witness from Saturday night at the Denny’s in Altoona. During the incident, before the second officer arrived, Nick McCune, who wrestles under the name “Manic,” helped detain him.

The man on the ground is 31-year-old Richard Hart. Police say he was intoxicated inside the restaurant, yelling at patrons that he had a knife, and warned he would use it if anyone came close to him.

Police eventually apprehended him and took the knife, however, that’s when you see Hart resist. He actually started kicking, and police say he assaulted two officers in the process.

Hart also threatened the officers saying he would shoot them.

Hart is in the Blair County Prison facing aggravated assault of an officer and terroristic threats charges among others.
