ORLANDO, FL (WTAJ) — Tuesday night President Donald Trump officially announced his reelection campaign for the 2020 Presidential Election.
President Trump decided to declare his campaign in Orlando, Florida.
Florida is one of the swing states the President will need to win a second term.
He touched on familiar topics such as the wall, immigration, and creating jobs.
“Since my inauguration, we’ve added 16,000 manufacturing jobs a month. That didn’t happen by accident,” said President Trump.
The president has repeatedly cited rally attendance as clear proof he’s doing well.
But leaked internal numbers recently showed him trailing Democratic Candidate Joe Biden, which resulted in the dismissal of three of the President’s pollsters.
