Today, residents in Clearfield will be joining together in prayer for Brody Lanich – a local boy fighting cancer.

This all taking place right here at Ampitheatre near the River Walk- but Brody’s currently in Pittsburgh undergoing intense treatments.

The six year old is fighting stage four neuroblastoma – a cancer that occurs most often in children.

His condition has become very serious and he is undergoing strong chemotherapy in the ICU in Pittsburgh.

His mother and father are both with him, but some of Brody’s extended relatives including his grandfather is expected to be in attendance here tonight.

The pastor from United Methodist Church in Clearfiled, where the Lanich  family attend, is expected to help lead the group prayer for the family.

A flower sale has also been going on at the Shaw Library to help the family financially.

The residents are rallying around their own here-showing support in any way they can.
