Police identified the teen killed in a crash Friday night in Centre County.

Officers told us Aleksey Bogdanets, 19, from Belleville is dead after losing control of his car and driving into a lake at Bald Eagle State Park in Liberty Township.

The Centre County coroner said Bogdanets, the driver, and two friends, passengers, were riding in the park when their vehicle entered water. The two friends were able to get out of the car but Bogdanets was unable to escape. 

We’re told he died as a result of drowning and the manner of death is accidental.
