Police are actively searching for a man who they say stole two vehicles this weekend and ran a woman over in Johnstown.

Police say Joseph Gillo, 27, stole a woman’s car Sunday night while she was getting gas at the Sunoco station on Fairfield Avenue in Johnstown.

Police say Gillo fought with the victim before driving off and running the woman over, dragging her through the parking lot. She was taken to the hospital where she had to undergo surgery for her injuries.

Police were able to track Gillo down to the Carrolltown Sheetz, but when officers arrived, they say he ran off, and stole a truck in the parking lot.

At this time, Johnstown Police say Gillo is still on the run. If you know where he is, or see him, you are asked to call police right away.
