Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers are stepping up after a string of arsons terrorized a mobile home community in Somerset County.

Police say over two months someone set eight fires in the Cherry Lane Estates neighborhood back in May and June.

Investigators have since been searching for a suspect. Residents meanwhile have been asked to report any suspicious activity.

“I’m going to do anything I can,” resident Mary Rugg said. “We got to catch the people’s doing it, before they seriously hurt somebody.”

” It’s gotta stop, before it gets any worse, before somebody does die,” resident Michelle Lewis said.

If you have any information you may call PA Crime Stoppers at 1-800-4PA-TIPS. All callers remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward.
