Area police have released new information in a death investigation begun last week.

The body of 64-year-old John Garner from Everett was found last Thursday along Nason Drive in Roaring Spring. State police now say an autopsy shows that Garner died from blunt force trauma, caused by being struck by a vehicle.

Officers say it would have a high profile such as a pickup truck or an SUV and would have damage to the front end.

Garner  who was wearing a blue plaid flannel shirt and blue jeans, was 5’9″and weighed about 185 pounds.

Anyone with information or who may have seen him walking near Conemaugh  Nason Hospital is asked to contact Trooper Eric Glunt at the Hollidaysburg Police Barracks at (814) 696-6100.
