A man in Blair County was arrested after allegedly trying to light himself  and state troopers on fire.

Police say on Saturday night, Jason Morrissey, 37 of Tyrone, doused himself and his camper with gasoline, after an argument with his girlfriend. Police say Morrissey had “consumed numerous alcoholic beverages.”

Troopers say when they responded to the camper along Belmont Avenue, Morrissey tried to pour gasoline on them and threatened to light them on fire as well.

Morrissey had to be physically removed from the camper.

This morning he is facing several charges including aggravated assault, attempted arson, and resisting arrest.
