State College Police are asking for your help identifying a man who stole a backpack at the Nittany Mall.

Police said the same evening the suspect store the backpack, he used the victim’s credit card at various stores in the State College area. The theft happened November 6 at approximately 7:17 p.m.

The man was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a black winter hat with a tan ball on top. Police said he was observed driving a white Mitsubishi SUV with the license plate number KB 2715.

Anyone who can identify the suspect or has any information on this theft is asked to contact State College Police at 814-234-7150, by email, or by submitting an anonymous tip through their website.
