State Police in Bedford are investigating the death of a white male in Kimmel Township.
Police were called to Mountain Penny Lane Tuesday at 2:35 p.m. after they were notified of an active domestic between the victim and his wife.
The victim, David Glenn Focht, Sr., 74, was found with a single gunshot wound to his torso. He died at the scene.
An autopsy was conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. and concluded that Focht died from a gunshot wound. The Bedford County Coroner’s office did not elaborate on how many gunshots were fired or where the injuries were located.
The investigation is ongoing.
