State police are investigating an animal cruelty case after two pitbulls were found dead in Centre county.

Officials say those dogs were found dead on Monday about a mile and a half west of Kato Orviston Road in Curtin township.

Police searched the area for evidence and interviewed several people, but no arrests have been made yet.

That investigation is ongoing.
