Johnstown police are investigating a shooting that happened over the weekend near the Wood Street Playground in the Hornerstown section of the city.
The shooting happened just before 2:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

The victim was taken to a hospital for surgery. There’s no update on his condition.
Police said they are still gathering evidence.
“We are going to be conducting search warrants. We’ll have more in formation for you when they are conducted. It would be on both the victim and the suspect’s properties. We’re looking into both sides,” said Capt. Chad Miller from the Johnstown Police Department.
