State Police in Clearfield are investigating a hit-and-run crash and possible arson in Clearfield County.

The crash happened Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. on Ashland Road, north of Red Schoolhouse Road.

Police said the drivers left the road and crashed into a Verizon utility pole and trees. The drivers then fled the scene.

When troopers arrived at the scene, the entire car was on fire. The license plate and personal items were removed from the vehicle before the fire.

The vehicle is believed to be a black Ford F150 that has a ladder rack attached to the bed near the tailgate. The year of the Ford F150 is believed to be between 1996 and 2003 and has rust around the rear wheel wells.
