Police in Blair County arrested seven people for drug charges over the weekend.
Police received a tip about suspicious activity happening at the Altoona Motel 6 on Saturday.
A Logan Township officer obtained search warrants for two of the rooms at the motel.
About 15 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, and other items were found inside.
“In this case, the person that reported the information, it became valid, and the officer, being proactive on his patrol duties, looked into it further and it was just a perfect confluence of those things.”
The seven suspects face possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and other misdemeanor drug charges.
