Police in Clearfield County say they were called to a Walmart store this week after a woman reported that someone was threatening to blow up her car with her inside it.

According to police, when officers from Lawrence Township arrived on the scene, they discovered that  27-year-old Dawn Irey from State College had her young child with her, she was highly under the influence of a controlled substance, and she’d  been hallucinating.

They arrested Irey and she’s been charged with offenses including child endangerment , drug possession, and DUI. Irey was taken to jail and the child was released to a family member.
