An organization is making a wish come true for a disabled child in our region.

On Wednesday Pixie Dust Wishes granted Eddie Coltabaugh and his family with an all-paid Disney vacation.

Eddie has DiGeorge Syndrome, a disability that is similar to Autism.

His preschool teacher in Tyrone nominated him for the gift.

Jaimie Miller, Director of Pixie Dust Wishes, said the trip is intended to provide relief for the child and the family.

“Going to Disney they cater everything for the children. And as a result you can relax and watch your child enjoy. You don’t have to fight, you don’t have to advocate, and you can just watch your child be at peace and happy,” Miller said.

Miller said another Pixie Dust Wish recipient will be selected next week.
