JOHNSTOWN Pa. (WTAJ) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will conduct an open house and plans display to gather public information on the Route 756 corridor between the intersection of Belmont Street and the Old Bedford Pike intersection. 

The meeting will take place on Thursday, June 6 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Richland Township Municipal Building on Schoolhouse Road in Johnstown. 

The project team will be gathering public thoughts along the current corridor regarding land use, pedestrian/transportation needs, and safety concerns. 

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public with an opportunity to express any comment on the proposed project. 

PennDOT representatives will be available to answer questions about the project. 

Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area should attend the meeting.
