STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WTAJ) — Patton Township Police Department in partnership with the Patton Township Business Association hosted a Children’s Safety Fair.

The safety fair was held from 10 am to 3 pm in the parking lot between Kohls and Target in State College.

The Children’s Safety Fair has been around for 18 years. It encourages kids to interact and meet with local law enforcement, fire departments, and the EMS.

There were food, games, bounce houses, rock climbing and more.

I spoke with Brad Tuskovich, Community Resource Officer for Patton Township Police, about the importance of the safety fair.
