One man is dead after a car crashed in Centre County Saturday night.

It happened on the 2300 block of Casanova Road in Rush Township.

Centre County Coroner Scott Sayers said Renny Baney, 41, was the passenger in a car that struck a tree. Coroner Sayers pronounced Baney dead at the scene.

We’re told an autopsy is scheduled for Monday, September 3.

PSP Rockview is also investigating the crash.
