A town in Pennsylvania bid its final goodbye to a U.S. soldier killed in Afghanistan.

Army Sergeant Jason McClary, from Westmoreland County, was among four service members killed in a bomb attack last month.

McClary was given a final salute and laid to rest in his hometown of Export Tuesday.

He leaves behind a young wife and two little boys.

His family said the Army is where he always wanted to be.

“My brother was definitely a hero. He loved doing what he did and worked hard doing what he did,” said Jeffrey Ritter, Sgt. McClary’s brother.

The funeral also honored the three other service members killed in the attack.

The taliban claimed responsibility for the blast, which was the deadliest for U.S. troops in Afghanistan in years.
