Next year, Pennsylvanians who get their health insurance through Obamacare will pay an average of 8.8 percent more for individual plans and 6.7 percent more for small group plans. That’s according to information on rate requests released Friday by the State Insurance Department.
The department says however, insurers will request 20 percent rate hikes if the Affordable Care Act subsidies aren’t continued.
