The DuBois Mall was up for a receiver’s sale Thursday.

The receivership sale happened because $33.5 million was owed by the mall owners to U.S. Bank National Association.

Nick Godfrey, an attorney at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP made a credit bid of more than $29 million dollars on behalf of the plaintiff, U.S. Bank National Association.

That was the only bid placed at the sale.

Representatives with the mall said business will continue as usual, and that the sale will not affect any customers or retailers.
