ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — Local officials are reminding folks about the importance of safety in the workplace.
The Blair County Chamber of Commerce held their second annual Home Run for Safety event at PNG Field.
Members of the Logan Township Emergency Services, along with other companies, taught attendees different aspects of workplace safety, such as CPR and fire emergencies.
“Everyone needs to be safe in their working environment. One careless mistake can cost the company a lot of time, money and resources,” Stacy Hoover, a member of the Blair County Chamber of Commerce, said.
Folks hope everybody in the workplace learns how to handle crisis situations in order to keep themselves safe.
